Spiritual Retreat In Granada

February 28 @ 11:00 am March 1 @ 5:00 pm

“Integrity” and “Clarity”, two moral values that are essential to understand, assimilate and integrate into our lives. One cannot exist without the other.

Defined as “moral strength”, having integrity means carrying out the agreements and promises we make to ourselves and to others. It is about being honest with oneself and firm in our actions. Don’t negotiate with the promises that you have made. Personal integrity is about acting from the heart and taking the path of our own “truth”. It means doing what we consider to be the right thing, not what is expected of us.

A person with integrity is, therefore, a person who can be trusted. When we break a promise or go back on a decision we have made, we inevitably lose that trust, trust in ourselves and the trust placed in us by those around us. This may lead us to avoid certain people or situations and distance ourselves from others.

Sometimes situations can arise that are beyond our control and the decisions we have made may no longer be valid. In these cases it is vital that we take responsibility and communicate the changes to those affected.

When we are lacking clarity, we study options without ever making a decision. Or we will make a decision but question it continually afterwards. Both these options cause us to be in a state of conflict.

Clarity is deined as “An abundance of light” or “A distinction that allows us to perceive sensations via our senses, and ideas via our inteligence.” Clarity is the use of our ability to think and reason in order to understand a particular situation, choose the most practical option and implement it efficiently.

“To act in consequence with what one says or considers to be important.”

Living with integrity allows us to keep our fundamental values: freedom and dignity. Clarity will allow us to always choose the best path.

In this retreat, Sri Swami Purohit will teach us how to develop integrity and clarity and how to use both of these moral attributes to guide us in life.

The retreat may include some simple yoga and breathing exercises. No experience is needed.
